Top officials at Yamaha have already mentioned that their immediate two-year strategy involves the introduction of a new vehicle category. This hints that the Yamaha MWT-9 concept could become reality.
Yamaha MWT-9 – Overview
A leaning reverse-trike based on the MT-09 engine, the MWT-9 concept is a unique product in the segment. Not that we haven’t seen similar products across different price ranges and engine capacities. The MWT-9 will sit along with the Tricity in the three-wheeler line-up for Yamaha.
The MWT-9 is a “Cornering Master” featuring a twin front wheel configuration and it redefines what it means to slice through turns during sporty riding.

Yamaha claims they have launched 250 new models across their entire global portfolio since 2013 and 270 more products have been planned.
