The Enyaq RS Race concept model features a unique body kit and aerodynamic parts specifically designed for quick performance and go-kart-like handling.
It is based on the standard Enyaq electric coupe and gets a special aero kit, which makes it 72 mm wider on the front and 116 mm wider at the rear. Moreover, it gets a large aero wing for added downforce and an aero-optimised roof that channels the air inside the cabin for ventilation.
The ride height of the Enyaq RS Race concept is 70 mm lower than the standard model. Complementing its low ride height are the lightweight RS alloy wheels and low-profile tyres. These combined give it the Fabia Rally2 car-like handling.
Moreover, the Enyaq RS Race concept also gets the unique bumpers with two additional curtains, diffuser, and wider fenders for improved aerodynamic stability and better air flow.
On the inside, it gets a race-inspired cabin that is made from the sustainable bio-composite material, incorporating flax fibre parts to replace the regular carbon fibre parts. It is also equipped with a roll-cage and race seats with a race steering and a vertical infotainment screen.
With all these changes, the Enyaq RS Race is 300 kg lighter than the standard model, and hence it can do 0-100 km/h in just 5 seconds. However, Skoda has not revealed more specifications yet.
Our verdict
The Enyaq RS Race concept car definitely looks cool while featuring advanced technology and performance parts. However, there is no near future plan to launch it or use it in motorsports. But we can certainly hope that it will hit the tarmac later.
