Since August 2021, Audi has previewed three concept cars which it believes could be the future of electric vehicles. Audi named this series of concept cars Sphere. So far, the German brand has unveiled three concepts – skysphere, grandsphere and urbansphere. The company has now unveiled the name of the fourth model in the Sphere series of concept cars – activesphere. In addition to revealing the name of the fourth model, Audi has also released a teaser image. Thus, giving us a glimpse of what the activesphere concept car could be.

Audi activesphere Concept

The teaser image from Audi shows that the activsphere will be a high-riding on-off-road vehicle with a coupe-like roofline, chunky wheels and minor fender flares. Also visible, although barely, is the single-frame Audi grille. Apart from this, not much is visible. The design of the activesphere has a minimalistic look.

Audi will unveil the fourth Sphere concept at the beginning of 2023. The brand claims it will offer maximum versatility for an active lifestyle, be it on-road or off-road. From the teaser image, we believe Audi’s claims will be true. However, there’s still some time before we get to see the concept.

Other Audi Sphere Concepts

The first Sphere concept Audi unveiled was the skysphere in 2021. The electric-powered two-door convertible concept illustrated Audi’s vision for the progressive luxury segment of the future. One of the biggest highlights of the Audi skysphere was that it could alter its wheelbase.

The next Sphere concept to debut was the grandsphere at the IAA 2021. The concept sedan measured 17.6 feet in length. Audi claimed it was a private jet for the road. It also offered Level 4 automated driving capabilities. In the self-driving mode, the steering wheel, pedals and displays hid away for more interior space.

The most recent Audi Sphere concept was the urbansphere. Audi claims it designed the urbansphere from the inside out. Furthermore, it claims it offers the largest interior space of any Audi to date. It looked more like a van than a crossover and was built for carrying people in urban environments.
