Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Tyre punctures are not uncommon in India, given the road conditions. Every one of us must have experienced a flat tyre in our life at least once. The aftermath of repairing the tyres and taking them to the nearby puncture shop gets very cumbersome and tiring. And hence to counter this, Ceat has come up with Puncture-Safe tyres for two-wheelers. Ceat now introduces a one-of-its-kind puncture safe tyres for motorcycles in Maharashtra.

The company claims that this new range of tubeless tyres will offer a hassle-free and safe ride. The technology used will resist the loss of air pressure in case of a puncture. These tyres are available across the southern Indian states, namely, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala. In addition to this, customers from Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Goa states can also get this product. These tyres are available in eleven different sizes, thus catering to a wide range of motorcycles. Interested customers can find the reviews of these tyres at Ceat’s official website.

How Do These Tyres Work?

Ceat is using a patented sealant developed in-house that seals the punctures on the go. Thus, making it a genuinely self-healing tyre. The tyre manufacturer mentioned this sealant could fill holes caused by nails up to 2.5mm in diameter on the tread area. These tyres are much better from a safety point of view as well. There have been multiple accidents due to tyre puncture, and Ceat wants to eradicate this potential hazard. Under the tagline of ‘Make mobility Safer and Smarter,’ these Ceat Puncture Safe Tyres will aim to reduce customer’s time and energy.
