Casio India launches Edifice NISMO Limited Edition EQS-930NIS for the first time in India. The wristwatch aligns with Edifice’s collection that aims to showcase high-performance metal chronographs based on the brand concept of “Speed and Intelligence”. The EQS-930NIS is a special limited-edition model created with NISMO, an Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. affiliate that resonates with motorsport activities.
The Edifice NISMO Limited Edition EQS-930NIS comes with a sticker price of INR 27,995. The limited-edition wristwatch is available for booking from 25th April 2022. Interested customers can book the wristwatch from the official Casio India online store. Edifice NISMO EQS-930NIS – Details
According to the company, the limited-edition watch captures the spirit of NISMO and motorsports from its design. The watch prominently features the red and black colours of NISMO. The inset dials, side bezels, and buttons have a red finish against a black base. Nissan and NISMO’s traditional ace number, 23, is also engraved on the dial at the 23-minute mark. In addition to this, the bezel, band loop and back case also have the NISMO number and logo engraved.
The inset dial also draws inspiration from a sports car’s titanium tailpipe. The 10 o’clock inset dial recreates the colour gradation when the heat from the exhaust and the temperature difference between car parts cause the titanium to turn bluish. The company also says the textured surface on the band evokes the tread of a post-race car tire.
The EQS-930NIS offers enhanced functionality with a solar-charging system. In terms of practicality, the watch also provides a stopwatch.
