BYD India strikes a massive deal. The Chinese EV maker has received a supply order for 100 all-electric e6 MPVs from Evera. This company provides app-based EV cab service services in New Delhi. With the BYD e6, Evera has big hopes of continuing its electric vehicle fleet operators. In fact, BYD and Evera also share the same sustainable energy goals. Both of them have now come together to help tackle the carbon emissions issues and control the carbon footprint.
BYD Is In Much Demand In India

With this massive order, BYD gets a confidence boost. The EV maker further confirmed that it will deliver 100 BYD e6 EVs over the next few months to add to its EV fleet. The performance of the all-new e6 is very encouraging and this is what the customers like as well. Thus, BYD is expecting to witness sustainable growth in terms of sales volume. BYD e6 Key Highlights
The BYD e6, is often dubbed as India’s first premium electric MPV. It comes equipped with a 71.7 kWh Blade Battery. This setup supports a WLTC (city) range of 520km and a WLTC (combined) range of 415 km on a single charge. E6 is also compatible with DC fast charging, allowing a charge from 30 per cent to 80 per cent within 35 minutes. The e6 also gets a vehicle warranty of 3 years/125,000km. For the battery cell, we get a warranty of 8 years/500,000km. Meanwhile, for the traction motor, the warranty period is set at 8 years/150,000km.
