Build Your Dreams or BYD, one of the world’s leading electric vehicle brand’s has announced that the company will launch its new electric MPV, the BYD eMAX 7 in the Indian market. The company also revealed that the eMAX 7 will succeed the BYD e6, which is a popular all electric MPV already for sale in India. In addition to this, the band also reveled that, like the e6 the eMAX 7 will also come with luxury, technology and sustainability. Thanks to its traits, the eMAX 7 is set to become an ideal family car especially for the modern and environmentally conscious Indian audience.
Nomenclature
BYD also revealed that the eMAX 7 nomenclature defines the brand’s success in the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) segment. Also, the ‘e’ prefix in the name represents its eco-friendly electric drive. Additionally, the ‘MAX’ moniker reverberates with the enhanced features, performance and range that the MPV will offer. Furthermore, the ‘7’ symbolizes the succession over the ‘e6’. Together, the eMAX 7 is set to deliver, an exceptionally advanced MPV in India, for both business as well as family requirements, reveals BYD.
What to Expect?
Currently, BYD has not revealed the complete details of the eMAX 7 MPV, however, expect the EV to come with a sharp front fascia, and a similarly sharp tail section with horizontal light signatures. The eMAX 7 is also likely to come with aerodynamic features to make the MPV more efficient. Also, the BYD eMAX 7 is likely to come with interior features such as a large touchscreen infotainment system as well as automatic climate control. BYD is also likely to offer ADAS features on the eMAX 7. The MPV is also likely to come with 6 and 7 seat configurations as well. The BYD eMAX 7 is also likely to come with a battery pack that is likely to offer a range of around 400-500 km on a single charge.
