Bugatti has also used the French expression “Pour l’éternité” which means – “For Eternity”. Bugatti is likely to unveil the new motor in June 2024 keeping up with tradition.

Bugatti V16 Engine – Sound and Firing Order

In addition to this, the brand has not revealed any other detail. However, speculation is that Bugatti will be moving away from the 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine. The new V16 is likely to be a hybrid unit and much more efficient and cleaner burning than the W16.

In addition to this, Bugatti through its official YouTube channel has given us a preview of the new V16 engine and how it sounds. The preview also reveals the carbon fibre engine cover revealing that a fast Bugatti is in order. In addition to this, the V16 engine also has its firing order stamped on top of the air inlets. We speculate that the V16 engine is likely to redline quite high somewhere close to the 9,000 RPMs.

What is Bugatti Cooking?

Bugatti Rimac CEO, Mate Rimac reveals that the engine has been in development since at least 14 months. The full engine has been ready and undergoing Dino test since November 2022. In addition to this, the car also appears to be under rapid development and is likely to be unveiled in the coming months.

Mate Rimac who is also the Founder of Rimac Automobili a Croatian automotive manufacturer that develops and produces electric sports cars also reveals that “there are many more such surprises waiting with the rest of the car!” This leads us to believe that the new Bugatti might not be a traditional model but something much more sporty.
