Bugatti Centodieci enters production after 50,000+ kilometers of testing

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Bugatti Centodieci is fully ready to hit the roads. A total of just 10 units will make it out to the roads, making it one of the most exclusive cars for 2022. Interesting, Bugatti claims that the Centodieci prototype has undergone an endurance test of 50,000 km. Not sure if any of the 10 Centodieci will ever clock that many kilometres in their lifetime. But to ensure the best quality, Bugatti did test the prototype to its limits. Now that the testing has been completed successfully, very soon, Bugatti Centodieci will enter production. If all goes on time, all the ten owners will have their Centodieci before the end of 2022.

What Is The Bugatti Centodieci?

Bugatti mentioned that this supercar pays homage to the definitive super sports car of the 1990s: the EB110. Being a Bugatti, we expect it to be a road missile in terms of performance. Power comes from a 3.5-litre V12 engine with four turbochargers that makes up to 610 PS. In addition to this, the carbon-fibre monocoque and all-wheel-drive system further enhance the on-road capabilities. This is the second coach nameplate from the brand, with La Voiture Noire being the first one. With such a rarity, it’s quite obvious that Bugatti is opting for such a rigorous testing standard.

Rigour Testing Standard For Centodieci

With 50,000 km on the odo, the prototype car has been seen in all. In fact, we had spotted the same Centodieci at the Nurburgring just a year back. Furthermore, we also saw the car in a climate chamber, a desert and also a wind tunnel. Just to sum up, we have seen the prototype almost everywhere the production spec would ever be. And now, the latest images released by Bugatti are the last testing duty of the prototype at the much renowned Nardo test track in Italy. Covering almost 1,200 km her day on the track, the expert test drivers checked every possible bit. This includes running the car at its electronically limited top speed of 383 kmph.
