Chennai-headquartered TVS Motor Company has launched the BS6 emissions compliant models of the TVS Scooty Zest 110 in the Indian market priced at INR 58,460 ex-showroom Chennai. The TVS Scooty Zest 110 BS6 is available in two variants Himalayan High Series and Matte Series.
The TVS Scooty Zest 110 features an aerodynamic front nose with black applique on the front apron featuring an LED daytime running light and a TVS badge. The front apron also integrates large vertically oriented turn signals with clear lens and ‘Scooty Zest 110’ badging. The Himalayan series Zest 110 also features series-specific body graphics.
The Scooty Zest 110 features a crescent shape clear lens halogen headlamp, body-coloured mirrors, beige coloured inner panels with black finished inner panels on the Himalayan High series model, beige and brown combination seat upholstery, a black seat upholstery on the Himalayan High series, silver-finished passenger grab rail, flush-mounted pillion footrest, a generous and textured floorboard, front pockets, luggage hook, 19-litres under-seat storage compartment that can accommodate a helmet and other oddities, the storage compartment comes with a light and USB charging point for charging smartphones.
The TVS Scooty Zest 110 is powered by a BS6 emission compliant 110cc single-cylinder air-cooled spark ignition engine with new Ecothrust Fuel injection (ET-Fi) technology that produces 7.7 Hp of power and 8.8 Nm of torque matched to a CVT gearbox. The TVS Zest 110 also comes with a telescopic front suspension and a hydraulic mono-shock on the rear.
The TVS Scooty Zest 110 BS6 is offered in five matte colour options – Matte Black, Matte Yellow, Matte Purple, Matte Red, Matte Blue on the Matte series and a Turquoise Blue colour option on the Himalayan High Series.
In other news, TVS has announced that the brand has extended the Free Service of vehicles due between March and April 2020, which was earlier redeemable till June 2020, has now been extended to 31 July 2020, and Warranties on TVS vehicles expiring between 1 March and 30 April 2020, earlier redeemable till June 2020 has now been extended to 31 July 2020.
