Suzuki had earlier revealed the BS6 compliant Access 125 scooter, and now, the brand has revealed the pricing and all other details. Prices for the 2020 Suzuki Access 125 with a BS6 engine start from INR 64,800 and there are a total of 5 variants to opt from. The updated scooter will be sold in blue, silver, white, black and grey colour options. The Special Edition will be available with alloy wheels and an optional disc brake with colour options which include red, blue, black and white. The Suzuki Access 125 is a very popular scooter in the segment, and also drives a lot of sales for the Japanese manufacturer. Hence, the BS6 variant comes ahead of the deadline.
Powering the 2020 Suzuki Access 125 BS6 is the same single-cylinder, air-cooled motor which now produces 8.7 PS of power @ 6750 RPM and 10 Nm of peak torque @ 5500 RPM matched to a CVT automatic gearbox. The scooter now comes with features such as an Eco assist inside the digital cluster, fuel-injection for the motor, external fuel-filler cap and a new LED headlamp. Additional features on the 2020 Access 125 include a longer seat, larger footboard area and deeper under-seat storage compartment. The Access 125 also comes with chrome accents which give it a premium appeal.
The Suzuki Access 125 comes with Combined Brake System (CBS) for added safety. The brand emphasizes that the CBS is a supplementary braking system, and that both brakes should be applied at the same time.
