BS6 Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS launched at INR 1.99 lakh

Mahindra has started to accept bookings for the BS6 compliant Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS which has been silently launched at the price of INR 1.99 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The Mahindra Mojo now comes in a single variant unlike before when the motorcycle used to come in the XT 300 and the UT 300 variants. The new price is also approximately INR 11,000 more than the BS4 predecessor. 

The Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS in its BS6 avatar is available in four new colour options which were revealed recently. The new colour options include –  Red Agate – a dual-tone Red and White finish, Black Pearl – a dark theme with an overall Black finish, Garnet Black – Black body paint theme with Red finished frame and Ruby Red – a dual-tone Red and Black theme. 

The Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS is powered by a BS6 emission-compliant 294.72cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke 4-valve DOHC fuel-injected petrol motor producing 26.20 PS of power and 28 Nm of torque matched to a constant-mesh 6-speed gearbox. 

The BS6 Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS features a twin-split rounded headlight unit with a large shroud with an integrated flyscreen, an exposed twin-tube frame and the Co-Axial mounted engine, a large muscular fuel tank with 21-litres fuel capacity, LED taillamps, right-side-up telescopic suspension on the front, a monoshock on the rear, Y-spoked alloy wheels shod in wide patch tubeless tyres and the stopping power comes from a single 320mm petal rotor front disc brake with a radial calliper and a 240mm rear disc with a floating calliper equipped with a dual-channel ABS.  

The Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS competes with quarter-litre single-cylinder motorcycles such as the Suzuki Gixxer 250, KTM 250 Duke, Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 & Svartpilen 250 and the Bajaj Dominar 250 in the sport-touring space.

The pricing on the Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS BS6 varies according to the colour options and goes up to INR 2.11 lakh ex-showroom. The Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS BS6 can be booked via the brand’s sales channels by paying INR 5,000 and the brand is expected to start deliveries on the new BS6 model soon.
