BS6 Honda X-Blade launched in India for INR 1,05,325

Honda has launched the BS6 compliant version of their X-Blade premium commuter motorcycle. The 2020 Honda X-Blade will be available in two variants – single disc & dual disc; with prices starting at INR 1,05,325 (ex-showroom Noida). Honda will be offering a 6-year warranty package with the X-Blade which includes 3 years standard warranty with an optional 3 year extended warranty.

Powering the 2020 Honda X-Blade is a BS6 compliant, 162.71cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SI motor with fuel-injection producing 10.2 kW of peak power @ 8000 RPM and 14.7 Nm of peak torque @ 5500 RPM matched to a 5-speed gearbox. The fuel-injection system has 8 sensors to ensure perfect air & fuel mixture for better performance and mileage. The brand is now offering a new engine kill switch as well on the X-Blade. Honda is now offering a 276cc front disc brake with an optional 220mm rear disc brake both of which are of the petal shape and the bike also benefits with a single-channel ABS. The Honda X-Blade measures 2013mm in length, 786mm in width, 1115mm in height, 1347mm in wheelbase, 160mm in ground clearance, 795mm in seat height, comes with a 12L fuel tank and the kerb weight varies between 143 – 144 kg depending on the variant. The 582mm long and 337mm wide seat of the X-Blade is expected to offer greater comfort to the daily commuters. The bike also gets a 130mm rear tyre which not only looks good, but will offer better grip as well. For safety, Honda’s new X-Blade also gets an hazard light feature.

The Honda X-Blade also has a full digital speedometer cluster which displays data such as gear position, clock, service reminder, digital speed read out and digital tachometer. Honda has now revised the headlamp unit, which still remains a full LED setup with a new robot inspired design theme. The body decals are also new for the 2020 X-Blade for easy differentiation. Other features include a dual outlet exhaust end can, rim stripes, grab rails, front fork cover, tyre hugger and link type gear shifter. Honda will offer the 2020 X-Blade in red, black, grey and blue paint options.
