Brixton will launch Cromwell & Crossfire bikes in India

Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, Brixton is planning to enter the Indian market with its motorcycles. The throwback motorcycle brand is likely to bring four motorcycles to the Indian market in the initial stage. According to reports, Brixton is likely to offer the Crossfire 500X and Crossfire 500XC as well as the Cromwell 1200 and Cromwell 1200X in the Indian market. This will enable the brand to target three motorcycle segments – the popular middleweight neo-retro naked class, scrambler segment as well as the retro cruiser segment. Thanks to this Brixton will be able to target a wider set of audience upon its entry in the Indian market.

Brixton Crossfire 500X and Crossfire 500XC

The Brimstone Crossfire 500 X comes with a neo-retro cafe racer design language. The motorcycle comes with a chiselled fuel tank, flat bench seating and rounded headlamps. in addition to this, the road biased Crossfire 500X also gets spoke wheels and a digital speedometer cluster. The dual sport scrambler style bike the Crossfire 500 XC will be based on the Crossfire 500 but features a high mount mudguard, engine bash plate, a small fly screen and dual sport tyres. Powering the Crossfire 500 x and XC is a 486cc twin-cylinder in-line liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 47 PS of power and 43 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox.

Brixton Cromwell 1200 and Cromwell 1200X

The Brixton Cromwell 1200 is the equivalent of Triumph’s Bonneville range. The retro cruiser motorcycle also comes in two forms – a road biased Cromwell 1200 and the off-road kitted Cromwell 1200X. Powering the Cromwell 1200 is a 1,222 cc twin-cylinder in-line liquid cooled engine. The engine produces 83 PS of power and 108 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The brand also claims that the Cromwell 1200 cruiser motorcycle will come with a top speed of 198 kmph.
