Brabus 1300R revealed, based on KTM 1290 Super Duke

Brabus has announced that the brand has collaborated with Austrian motorcycle brand KTM introducing the new Brabus 1300R. Brabus has announced that the brand will commence accepting bookings on the Brabus 1300R on 14 February at 15:00 CET. The motorcycle will be exclusively available through the KTM pre-order web page, with pre-order starting 77 hours after the embargo. Also, Brabus will be offering only 77 units each of the Magma Red and Signature Black Brabus 1300R. 

Brabus 1300R – Highlights

The Brabus 1300R comes with the ‘Black and Bold’ design language. The motorcycle underpins the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO platform; however, the bike features an uncompromising naked bike styling with a rebellious heart and the soul of a gentleman. The Brabus 1300R also features forged BRABUS Monoblock Z wheels and high-specification carbon body elements. The bike also gets a stylish custom made seat that has been detailed by the BRABUS interior specialists. In addition to this, the seat also comes with heating, and the bike gets an LED headlight as well. The Brabus 1300R also comes with a special BRABUS dual-pipe exhaust system. 

Brabus 1300R – Technical Specifications

Powering the Brabus 1300R is a 1301cc V-twin engine with liquid cooling. The engine is capable of developing 180 Hp of power and 140 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox and sets the benchmark of V-twin evolution. The motorcycle comes with semi-active WP suspension technology with electronically controlled solenoid valves for variable damping. The suspension offers a wide range of settings ranging from street comfort to an extremely stiff set-up for the racetrack.

Furthermore, the state-of-the-art suspension also features an intelligent AUTO mode, which automatically adjusts to conditions and driver input, keeping the focus on the road at all times. The motorcycle also comes with an extensive electronics package that includes features such as traction control, anti-wheelie functionality, selectable driving modes, Quickshifter+ and a large full-colour TFT dashboard.
