Upcoming EV start-up, Bounce has announced that it has achieved over 3 crore rides on its dockless scooter sharing platform. By registering over 17 crores worth of shared kilometres via this platform, Bounce has showcased a phenomenal growth trajectory. In India, Bounce Share has provided accessible mobility across all segments via its patented keyless technology on its two-wheelers. This allows customers to pick up or drop their bikes at any legalised parking spots across the city.

Platform perks, Achievements & Future Plans

The Bengaluru-based startup announced the achievement via Twitter despite the pandemic slowing down its progress and acting as an obstacle. Since 2020, Bounce has focussed on building its own EVs and battery swapping infrastructure along with providing access to mobility. The brand also stated that it has partnered with brands like NoBroker, Park+, Readyassist, Kitchens@, HelloWorld and Goodbox. This will allow them to serve retail customers and ride-sharing businesses along with setting up an infrastructure, serving million+ scooters.

Bounce aims to fulfil this plan within the next 12-24 months, wherein customers can then access the smart framework. Using the Bounce App, customers will gain access to the framework at restaurants, cafes, co-living spaces, corporate offices, Kirana stores, etc. Bounce aims to provide easy mobility for people across multiple categories such as small businesses, college students, workers and delivery agents. Launched back in May 2018, Bounce built its one-of-a-kind, indigenously-built, dockless bikes using in-house R&D for diverse economic aged groups.
