One of India’s upcoming electric startups, Nahak Motors has announced the opening of pre-bookings for its Nahak P-14 high-speed e-bike. The company has opened the pre-booking window for its first high-speed e-bike from March 15th-30th, 2022 throughout the country. Customers can pre-book the e-bike by registering online and paying INR 11,000 along with getting a 10% discount on MRP. Nahak Motors has priced the Nahak P-14 at INR 2,49,990 with deliveries starting from 15th May 2022.
Nahak Motors first unveiled its P-14, High-Speed electric motorcycle at the 2020 Auto Expo at Delhi despite the Covid-19 limitations. The company reiterated its responsibility of offering superior quality, e-mobility options which include e-cycles, e-scooters, and electrical rickshaws for customers. However, to fill in the missing ‘Speed’ aspect, the manufacturer produced and developed the P-14 as its first high-speed motorcycle.
The P-14 showcases a typical sports-tourer design with twin headlamps upfront with LED DRLs and a windscreen for protection. Additionally, the e-bike sports a sharp beak with the turn indicators mounted on the sides and mirrors on the windscreen’s edges. Other details of the P-14 include the sporty tail section, a single-seat, aerodynamic body panels, and 17-inch wheels.
Nahak Motors has equipped the P-14 with a 72v 60Ah, advanced Lithium-ion battery pack that powers the BLDC electric motor. This allows the P-14 to produce 6200 watts of peak power and achieve a top speed of 135 kph. The electric motorcycle also sports an inverted reverse suspension, 150mm of ground clearance, and a seating capacity for 2 adults. Nahak Motors claims that this performance makes the P-14 one of the fastest ‘Made-in-India’ e-bikes available today.
Along with a High Strength Chassis/Frame, the bike gets a rear Passenger Footrest and a Digital Speedometer with battery indicator. For ideal braking performance, the P-14 sports dual front discs that work in tandem with the single rear disc. Customers will get a standard charger from Nahak Motors that will fully charge the P-14 in 3 hours. They can also opt for the proprietary fast charger that will charge the electric bike in less than 30 minutes.
