Bookings open for Harley-Davidson X440 at Harley-Davidson dealerships & Hero MotoCorp outlets

Interesting news from Harley-Davidson. The two-wheeler maker has introduced the X440 model as its most affordable offering in India. The X440 comes in three variants. These are Denim, Vivid, and ‘S’, with different features and colour options.

These Are The Variants On Offer

The base variant, Denim, retails at INR 2.29 lakh and is available in a single colour option called Mustard Denim. It features a yellow fuel tank and black bodywork, tube-type tires, and spoke wheels.

The Vivid variant carries a price tag of INR 2.49 lakh and is available in Metallic Thick Red and Metallic Dark Silver color options. It comes with alloy wheels instead of spoke wheels.

The top-spec ‘S’ version gets a price tag of INR 2.69 lakh and is available in a single Matte Black colour. It features 3D decals and machined alloys. Additionally, this variant also comes with a connectivity feature as standard, providing access to turn-by-turn navigation, phone and text alerts, and music control. The other variants do not offer this connectivity feature.

All variants of the Harley-Davidson X440 are equipped with a 3.5-inch TFT screen, full-LED lighting, and dual-channel ABS for safety.

In terms of the powertrain, the X440 uses a 440cc, single-cylinder engine. This motor produces 27 BHP of power and 38 Nm of torque. The engine uses a six-speed gearbox.

Harley-Davidson Getting Serious For the Indian Market

The Harley-Davidson X440 competes with popular motorcycles in India. This includes the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB350, and Jawa 42. These motorcycles are known for their retro styling and appeal to the cruiser segment in the Indian market. It’s exciting to see Harley-Davidson expanding its lineup. With a more affordable option like the X440, it is providing enthusiasts with another choice in the competitive Indian motorcycle market.
