Bookings-open for BS6 CFMoto 650GT in India

CF Moto is introducing the new BS6 compliant 650GT in the Indian market. The motorcycle manufacturer failed to upgrade the 650GT during the BS6 transition last year. But better late than never. CF Moto has also commenced bookings on the new BS6 compliant 650GT through their online sale channels.

CF Moto 650GT BS6 Changes

During its transition into the BS6 era, the CF Moto 650GT does not appear to have changed much cosmetically. The brand is not likely to make any major mechanical changes as well. Of Course apart from the new sensors and exhaust equipment required to conform to the stricter norms. CF Moto has not yet revealed what changes the brand has made to achieve BS6 standards. But, we speculate that the motorcycle will come with a new exhaust system, added O2 sensors and reconfigured intake/fuel injection system.

CF Moto 650GT Specifications

Powering the BS4 model was a 649.3cc in-line twin-cylinder engine. The engine features liquid cooling and electronic fuel injection. The brand is likely to retain the engine architecture as well as the performance figures. The engine will come with a 6-speed gearbox. The 650GT is also likely to retain its cycle parts such as the telescopic front fork suspension and cantilever type rear mono-shock. The motorcycle also gets twin-disc brakes on the front and a single disc on the rear. The 650GT uses J.Juan callipers equipped with ABS technology for safety.

The CF Moto 650GT is 2100 mm in length, 930 mm in width, 1340 mm in height. The motorcycle comes with a 1415 mm wheelbase and 150 mm ground clearance. The CF Moto 650GT comes with an approachable 795mm of saddle height and tips the scales at 226 kg at the kerb calculated with Standard Mounting System and Side Cases. The motorcycle also comes with a large 19-litre fuel tank that offers a long highway range.

CF Moto 650GT Design & Colour

The motorcycle features a typical grand tourer design language and comes with a large front fascia. The front end features double split and stacked headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. The 650GT also features a large touring windscreen and a full-size fairing that offers wind and weather protection to the rider. The motorcycle gets a chiselled fuel tank, wide handlebars, ergonomic seating and a slim tail section. CF Moto is likely to offer two colour themes on the BS6 650GT similar to the predecessor. The BS4 model came with two colour themes – Concept Blue and Nebula Black.
