BMW X7 SUV sold out in India for 2019

BMW has revealed that they have sold out their flagship SUV the X7 for the Indian market in 2019. Now the brand has not revealed exactly how many X7 cars they have sold in India, but bookings of the X7 now will only see deliveries from January 2020. BMW claims to have sold out all their inventory of the X7 in 3 months since launch here in India. The new BMW X7 is the biggest BMW SUV ever and comes to India in a xDrive30d diesel and xDrive40i petrol variants.

BMW locally assembles the diesel variant of the X7 while the petrol X7 variants are brought in as a CBU. BMW has priced the X7 xDrive30d Design Pure Excellence Signature at INR 98.90 lakh while the X7 xDrive40i even though an import, costs the same.

The BMW X7 petrol comes with a 3.0L, 6-cylinder, turbocharged engine producing 340 HP of power and 450 Nm of torque allowing this SUV to sprint from 0-100 kmph in 6.1 seconds. The BMW X7 diesel variants come with a 3.0L, 6-cylinder diesel engine producing 265 HP of power and 620 Nm of torque pushing this big SUV from 0-100 kmph in 7 seconds. With the xDrive AWD system, the BMW X7 comes matched to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The BMW X7 is a 7-seater luxury SUV which offers the appeal and opulence of a 7-series sedan in a high seating, big SUV design. This biggest SUV from BMW ever comes with an adaptive 2-axle air suspension system which can raise or lower the ride height with the touch of a button and also adapts to the driving style and automatically adjusts the ride height.

Features of the BMW X7 include a massive kidney grille, plenty of chrome accents, full LED lighting, 21″ alloy wheels, premium leather upholstery, full digital speedometer cluster, electric seat adjustment, 12.3″ infotainment screen with gesture control, temperature controlled cup holders, etc.
