BMW X7 M50d with 400 HP & 760 Nm launched in India at INR 1.63 Crore

BMW has launched the X7 M50d at the price of INR 1.63 Crores ex-showroom in the Indian market. The BMW X7 M50d features M Specific styling on the exteriors as well as its interiors as well as a more powerful diesel powertrain that justifies the nomenclature. 

The BMW X7 M50d in terms of styling features a large satinised signature BMW kidney grille with Active Air Stream – an adaptive air flap system and vertical slats that helps improve the large SUV’s aerodynamic efficiency, BMW Adaptive LED Headlights with BMW Selective Beam & High-beam assistant, geometric front apron, with gunmetal finished inserts, bar-style fog lights, meshed air intakes, M Aerodynamics package – wing-shaped front apron, side skirts and wheel arch trims, raised bonnet ridges, rounded wheel arches, 21-inch double-spoke dual-tone M light-alloy wheels shod in 285/45 run-flat tyres, LED tail lamps, two-part electric tailgate, ‘M’ badge on front left and right side panels.

On the interiors, the BMW X7 M50d features open-pore wood trim embellishments, ‘CraftedClarity’ glass elements, M specific Velour floor mats, ‘Vernasca’ leather seat upholstery, 12.3-inch fully digital colour instrumentation with M specific display in SPORT and SPORT+ mode, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display with iDrive control, built-in navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay integration and BMW Operating System and parking assistant, Parking Assistant with Reversing Assistant,  4-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, three-part sunroof, BMW Gesture Control, BMW Display Key with LCD colour display and touch control panel. 

The BMW X7 M50d is powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo diesel engine that produces 400 HP of power and 760 Nm of torque matched to an 8-speed  Steptronic Sports Automatic transmission that sends the power to all four wheels via an M Sport Differential and Intelligent 4-Wheel-Drive system with variable torque distribution. The SUV also comes with Launch Control Function, Adaptive 2-axle Air Suspension, Integrated Brake System, Servotronic Steering Assist. 

The BMW X7 is also available in three other trim variants – The BMW X7 xDrive30d DPE priced at INR 92.50 lakhs, the X7 xDrive30d DPE Signature priced at INR 1.02 Crore and the BMW xDrive40i M Sport priced at INR 1.06 Crore.
