BMW has finally revealed the ultra-sporty BMW M5 CS which was teased earlier this month. The brand has also announced that the BMW M5 CS will be priced at EUR 180,400 in Germany and the car will be launched in the European market around spring 2021.
The BMW M5 CS will be introduced in a limited-run and as teased earlier that the car is a “true four-seater” and the M5 CS indeed delivers an exhilarating experience for four people as the sporty sedan comes with four sports seats.
The BMW M5 CS features M Carbon seats for the driver and front passenger as well as individual seats for the rear passengers. All seats are covered in black Merino leather covers, with the fine-grain one on the front and contrasting panels and stitching in Mugello Red. The integral head restraints also feature the illuminated M5 logo on the front seats and an outline of the Nurburgring circuit on the seats.
The sporty seats are perfectly complemented by an M Alcantara steering wheel with black chrome trim on the steering wheel spokes and carbon fibre gearshift paddles. The centre console also black Merino leather with red contrast double stitching along with “CS” badging on the instrument panel and in between the rear bucket seats.
On the outside, the BMW M5 CS features carbon fibre-reinforced plastic with some features that come with exposed carbon fibre finish. The front splitter, bonnet, exterior mirror caps, rear spoiler and diffuser as well as the M Power engine compartment cover. The sports car also features an M5 CS logo on the radiator grille, M gills on the front quarter panels, 20-inch M forged alloy wheels with a Y-spoke design, L-shaped light tubes of the BMW Laser headlights with yellow illumination, LED tail lamps etc.
The BMW M5 CS is powered by a 4.4-litre M TwinPower Turbo technology with cross-bank exhaust manifold and M TwinScroll twin turbocharger with high precision fuel injection and Double-VANOS variable camshaft timing. The power unit produces 635 Hp of power and 750 Nm of torque matched to an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic and M xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system.
The car will be offered in exclusive BMW Individual matte shade of Frozen Deep Green metallic and Frozen Brands Hatch Grey metallic alongside the Brands Hatch Grey metallic paint shade.
