BMW has launched the R nine T cafe racer in India at a price of Rs. 23.50 Lakh (Ex-Showroom Mumbai). This bike will be available for sale only in Mumbai, at the Navnit Motors showroom. The bike will be available only in a single dual tone paint scheme – black and silver.

The R nine T is powered by a four-stroke, 1170cc, air-cooled, flat twin, boxer engine that pumps out 110 BHP of power @ 7550 RPM and 119 Nm of torque @ 6000 RPM. The rear wheel is driven by a shaft and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Fuel economy is claim is 22 kmpl, and a top speed of 200 kmph.

The bike is equipped with ABS and other features include USD front forks, removable pillion frame, rear monoshock, single sided swingarm, spoked rims, etc.

The R nine T will be brought here via the CBU route and deliveries are expected to begin by August 2014.
