BMW Motorrad has refreshed its 310 line-up in India. The bikes will now be offered with new colours. Mechanical specifications of these bikes will remain unchanged.
What’s new in the 2023 BMW Motorrad G 310 R, G 310 RR & G 310 GS?
For starters, the G 310 R will now come in a paint option called the Style Passion. It is a combination of black and grey with red accents all over. Meanwhile the G 310 RR will get Cosmic Black 2 in its arsenal. Lastly, the G 310 GS will not get a Racing Red colour scheme. This consists of red, black and silver elements all across the bike.
Mechanical Specifications unchanged
All these aforementioned bikes come with a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This motor develops 33.5 BHP @ 9,250 rpm and 28 Nm @ 7,500 rpm in the G 310 R and the G 310 GS.
That said, in the G 310 RR, the performance output from the motor reads as 33.5 BHP @ 9,700rpm and a peak torque of 27.3 Nm @ 7,700 rpm in the Track and Sport modes. Meanwhile in Rain and Urban modes, the numbers drop to 24.5 BHP / 25 Nm. BMW claims a top speed of 160 km/h in Track and Sport modes. Meanwhile, the top speed is limited to 125 km/h in the Rain and Urban modes.
BMW Motorrad M 1000 RR : More Details
BMW Motorrad has launched the M 1000 RR sports bike in India. Brought in as a completely built unit, the motorcycle can be pre booked at the authorised dealerships. Deliveries are scheduled to commence from November 2023. The price of the bike is set at INR 49,00,000 while the Competition version will cost buyers INR 55,00,000 (ex-showroom).
Based on the S1000RR, the M version is the bike that gets modified for the World Superbike Series and the British Superbike Championship. These get a revised 4-cylinder engine that puts out 209.2 BHP.
