BMW M5 facelift launched at Rs. 1.35 crore

The new BMW M5 is available at BMW dealerships across India as a CBU (Completely Built-Up) unit from today onwards. The M5 facelift is available in a petrol variant at an all India ex-showroom price of INR 1,35,40,000.

The new BMW M5 is available in Alpine White as non-metallic paintwork and in the following seven metallic paintworks: Black Sapphire, Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect, Monte Carlo Blue, Sakhir Orange, Silverstone, Singapore Grey and Space Grey. The standard Leather Merino upholstery is available with extended contents in Black, Sakhir Orange and Silverstone colour combinations. Interior trims offered are Fine-wood Trim Ash Grain Brown and Fine-wood Trim Fineline Anthracite with highlight trim finishers Aluminium Trace.

The new BMW M5 is driven by the M TwinPower Turbo eight-cylinder petrol engine. This is the most powerful of all the BMW production engines, with its torque of up to 680Nm, and power output of 412 kW / 560 hp. This engine pushes the new BMW M5 from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. Engine is mated to a seven-speed M dual-clutch transmission.

Safety features include air bags, Active M Differential, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including M Dynamic mode, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist, Active Protection with Attentiveness Assistant and Active headrests (front).
