BMW India has introduced the new i7 eDrive50, a single-motor variant of its flajgship electric sedan, priced at INR 2.03 crore (ex-showroom). This new model replaces the previous dual-motor xDrive60 variant, making the electric luxury sedan more accessible by reducing the price by approximately INR 10 lakh.

The BMW i7 eDrive50 retains the same impressive 101.7 kWh battery as its predecessor, offering a range of up to 603 km (ARAI) on a single charge. The battery powers a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 443 bhp and 650 Nm of torque . The single-motor configuration provides rear-wheel drive, making the i7 eDrive50 more affordable while still delivering impressive performance.
The i7 eDrive50 comes in the sporty M Sport trim, featuring a sleek exterior with a bold kidney grille, sharp crystal LED headlights, flush door handles, and slim LED tail-lights. The two-tone paint option adds to its stylish appeal.

Charging and Convenience
Charging the i7 eDrive50 is convenient, with the ability to go from 0-100% in just 10 hours and 45 minutes using an 11 kW AC charger. For those in a hurry, the i7 eDrive50 supports 195 kW DC fast charging, replenishing the battery from 10-80% in just 34 minutes.
