BMW launches 3-Series Shadow Edition for INR 41.40 lakh

While the 7th generation BMW 3-Series is still some time away from making an Indian debut, the German luxury car manufacturer is keeping the old version styled differently to continue with the sales momentum. BMW has launched a new limited period only 3-Series Shadow Edition in India.

This new 3-Series Shadow Edition will be available in 2 variants:

  • Petrol 330i M Sport priced at INR 47.30 lakh (ex-showroom)
  • Diesel 320d Sport priced at INR 41.40 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Shadow Edition, as the name suggests, comes with smoked effect on the headlamp & tail lamp. It sports gloss finish on the front grille, exhaust tips and new 18″ wheels different for both petrol and diesel versions. Interiors get a mix of red & black upholstery with leather seats, new digital instrument console, M Sport steering wheel, new infotainment system, reverse camera with parking sensors a variable sport steering system exclusive for the petrol model.

The BMW 3-Series 330i is powered by a 2.0L, 4-cylinder petrol motor producing 252 HP of power and 350 Nm of torque sprinting from 0-100 kmph in 5.8 seconds. The 320d on the other hand makes use of a 2.0L, TwinTurbo, 4-cylinder diesel producing 190 HP of power and 400 Nm of torque sprinting from 0-100 kmph in 7.2 seconds. Both engines are matched to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
