BMW G 310R motorcycle gets new colours

BMW Motorrad has unveiled the 2024 G 310R. The entry level road bike from the BMW stable is now offered in two new paint shades. Other mechanical bits remain the same.

New colours on the BMW G 310R

The first colour consists of black and grey combination. There are also a few red elements like the headlamp, fuel tank and the rear tail area. The updated bike also gets the trellis frame in red along with alloys finished in the same colour.

The other option is the blue and white colour combination with the same red elements. Alongside, the frame and the alloys are finished in red in this case as well.

Apart from the colours, there are no other changes or updates to the motorbike.

BMW G 310R : More Details

The 2024 BMW G310R comes with a 313cc, single cylinder engine. This liquid-cooled unit is good for 33.5 BHP @ 9,250 rpm and 28 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. BMW has paired a 6-speed gearbox with this engine.

Other hardware bits on the G 310R include upside-down front forks, rear monoshock, 17-inch alloys, all-LED lighting, digital instrument cluster, disc brakes on both ends and more. The bike comes with dual channel ABS, but misses out on features like Bluetooth connectivity, USB port and a slipper clutch.

Updated BMW G 310R launch in India

BMW Motorrad is likely to launch the new bike sometime this year. In terms of pricing, expect a small hike from the current INR 2.85 lakh price tag.

In other news, BMW Motorrad has launched the M 1000 RR sports bike in India. The price of the bike is set at INR 49,00,000 while the Competition version will cost buyers INR 55,00,000 (ex-showroom). Customers can get deliveries from Nov 2023. Currently, pre-bookings for these bikes are open. The bikes are brought in as completely built units.
