BMW India announces the launch of 5 Series ‘Carbon Edition’. Carrying forward the legacy of the 5 Series nameplate in India, this special edition will aim to boost the sales figure further. The timing of the launch suggests that BMW is seeking to pitch this car during the festive season. As the name suggests, this ‘Carbon Edition’ will get distinct dark carbon exterior elements. This will enhance the outlook of the already great looking 5 Series sedan.

What Are The Extra In This ‘Carbon Edition’?
For starters, the kidney grille, along with front attachment and splitters, get dark carbon fibre. This makes the front profile of the car a definite head-turner. In addition to this, BMW is also using carbon fibre in the wing mirror caps, thus matching the front profile.
From the side, onlookers will appreciate the 18-inch Jet Black alloys, which perfectly complements the overall character of the sedan. In the rear, BMW has added a subtle carbon fibre spoiler. In terms of exterior colour options, BMW is offering the edition in an exclusive Alpine White paintwork. The interiors make use of perforated Sensatec trim in Cognac and Black colour combination with contrast stitching. There are no changes in the equipment list and in the mechanical department.

With no changes in this department, BMW will continue with the 2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine.
