BharatBenz reveals 6 new trucks & 2 new buses for India

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has announced the launch of eight new products to its range. With more than 250 touchpoints across the country, BharatBenz is slowly gaining on more market share in the commercial vehicle segment with the introduction of 6 new trucks and 2 new buses.

The six new trucks named BSafe Express has introduced mainly for the delivery and transportation of vaccines the other BharatBenz trucks are the 1917R, 4228R Tanker, 1015R+, 42T M-Cab and the 2828 Construction vehicle. BharatBenz claims that these trucks will provide unmatched reliability and safety. The 1917R is best suited for the transportation of FMCG and e-commerce as it supports load span options across 20, 22, 24, and 31-foot. The 4228R is best suited for parcel and container applications and has a loading span of 31 ft. The 4228R also has a special trim which is equipped with a 34-kilolitre tanker which will be most preferable for POL applications.

The new buses which are expected to hit the Indian roads soon are the wide-body 1017 variant which has a seating capacity of 50 passengers meanwhile the 1624 chassis is equipped with a parabolic suspension. The BharatBenz 1017 is ideal for the transportation of school students, staff members and college students. The BharatBenz 1624 is more suited for long-distance travels as it comes with air and parabolic suspension which improves the ride to a great extent and thus the travel companies will find this model best suitable for the inter-city transportation.

BharatBenz has also laid a lot of emphasis on the safety of the passengers by introducing the B Safe Pack which includes, infection-proof fabric seats, a COVID recommended Safety Kit for the driver, a disinfection fogging machine and a UV sanitiser box. BharatBenz trucks and buses are widely known for their ‘Profit Technology’ which the company claims that it delivers the best in class fuel-efficiency along with low maintenance cost and high reliability.
