South Korean carmaker Kia has issued an advisory that the brand has not yet released any communication regarding the booking process of the upcoming Seltos and certain websites which claim to be the official channel for the booking process are fraudulent. Kia Motors have also advised their customers to stay clear of such fraudulent websites and wait for official communication.
The brand has recently revealed the much-awaited Seltos SUV and when launched, the Seltos will compete with the likes of the Nissan Kicks, Renault Captur and its cousin Hyundai Creta. The Kia Seltos comes with a host of features like remote engine start & stop, remotely operated Air Purifier and In-Car Air Quality Monitor, UVO connected technology, voice command, remote immobilisation, Safety alert (Geo fence, Time Fence, Speed, Valet, Idle), Auto Collision Notification, SOS-emergency assistance, etc.
On the exterior, the Kia Seltos gets a tiger-face grille, LED DRL, LED headlights, vertical oriented LED Fog lamps, 3D LED tail lights, Alloy wheels, black cladded wheel arches, dual exhaust finishers, etc. On the inside, the Seltos features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an 8-speaker system, 8-inch heads up display, ventilated seats, 2-step reclining second-row seats, 12V charging socket in the second row, curtains in second-row windows, 360-degree camera, blind-spot view monitor, smart air purifier, etc.
The Seltos comes with three engine options which include a naturally aspirated petrol, turbocharged petrol and a diesel engine which come matched to four transmission options that include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, 7-speed DCT and an IVT (Intelligent CVT).
The Seltos is built on robust structure, which has a high usage of advanced high strength steel (AHSS) and also gets a lot of other safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, Hill Assist Control, Vehicle Stability management among others.
