Bentley has revealed the new Continental GT Mulliner. The model will make its public appearance at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. It will sit at top of the Continental GT range. The Mulliner will combine the Continental GT Azure with Continental GT’s speed. Furthermore, Bentley’s Mulliner division will bring more luxury. The Mulliner will be available as a coupe and a convertible.
Bentley Continental GT Mulliner – Highlights
On the outside, the Continental GT Mulliner gets unique 22-inch alloy wheels. They also come standard with self-levelling badges. It also gets a ‘double-diamond’ grille and Mulliner emblems. The exterior accents are available in bright chrome or high gloss black. The mirror caps come in satin silver or black. They also feature integrated welcome lamps with a bespoke pattern. Also standard are illuminated door sills.
On the inside, it is available in eight three-colour combinations. There are also 88 piano wood veneers to choose from. The seats, rear quarter panels and door cards feature the “Diamond in Diamond” quilting. The quilting contains 712 stitches and accounts for almost 400,000 stitches. It also gets embroidered Mulliner logos on the seats. The carpet piping also matches the rest of the interior. The centre console features a diamond-milled technical finish. Meanwhile, the roof comes in either an indented hide or smooth hide upholstery. There is also a Breitling dashboard clock and a sketch of the car’s silhouette on the passenger side.
Bentley Continental Mulliner – Technical Highlights
Bentley has put the same engine in the Mulliner as the Speed model. Thus, it uses a 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine. It makes 659 PS of power and 900 Nm of torque at 1,500 to 5,000 rpm. Power goes to all four wheels through an 8-speed DCT. It also gets all-wheel steering, eLSD rear differential and 48V anti-roll control. The Mulliner accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.6 seconds. At the same time, its top speed is 335 kmph.
