Written by Nizam Shaikh

Bajaj recently launched the new version of the Pulsar N250 in the Indian market. Now the brand is working on the new NS400 which is going to be the largest displacement Pulsar NS ever. While the brand is likely to use the engine from the Domineer 400 the chassis is likely to be a modified version of the Bajaj NS200. However, more importantly we have learnt from sources that, the brand is planning to launch the much-awaited motorcycle on 3rd May 2024.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400 – Technical Speculations

The Pulsar NS400 is likely to use the same engine that does duty on the Domineer 400. In addition to this, speculation is that the motorcycle is likely to comes with a the same chassis as the NS200. But we think that the brand is likely to strengthen the frame for it to take the additional stress of the larger engine.

However, dimensionally the Pulsar NS400 is lily to be only a little bit larger than the NS200. The engine from the Dominar is a 373cc single cylinder liquid-cooled unit that produces 40 PS of power and 35 Nm of torque. The triple spark DOHC engine comes matched to a 6-speed gearbox.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400 – Design and Features

While the Pulsar NS400 could be similar in design to the NS200, the brand is likely to add distinguishing features to the premium motorcycle. In addition to this, the NS400 is also likely to come with an extensive electronics suite. We believe that the silhouette of the NS400 is likely to be similar to the NS200 but the bike is likely to come with brand new graphics and a new dashboard. The NS400 is also likely to come with riding modes as well as traction control and ABS modes. Also expect features such as upside down front forks on the new Pulsar NS400.

More details on the Pulsar NS400 is likely to emerge in the coming weeks.
