Pulsar 125 fans rejoice as we have news of the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar N125. The much-anticipated motorcycle has been spotted road testing, hinting at its imminent launch.
What to Expect?
The spy images of the Pulsar N125 reveal some interesting details about the motorcycle. Unlike the previous test mule with an LED unit, the recently spotted Bajaj Pulsar N125 was equipped with a halogen headlight. This suggests that Bajaj could be working on two models with different features.
The Pulsar N125 is expected to house a 124.45cc air-cooled SOHC engine. This engine is capable of delivering 12 PS of maximum power and 11 Nm of peak torque. The bike will also come paired with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox.
The bike is expected to be equipped with telescopic front forks and monoshock suspension at the rear. Other visible features include LED headlamps, split seats, alloy wheels, handlebar, sporty rear-view mirrors, underbelly exhaust, and a sleek tail section.
The Pulsar N125 is also expected to feature an LCD instrument console. The console is said to be inspired from its predecessors, featuring speedometer readings, gear indicators, trip meters, and smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth.
Competition and Pricing
The Pulsar N125 is set to compete in the premium 125cc motorcycle segment. With the launch of the Pulsar N125, Bajaj can have a new sporty commuter in the segment at an aggressive price tag. The bike will be positioned between Pulsar 125 and Pulsar NS125, and we can expect this model to be priced approximately INR 1 lakh (ex-showroom). This will compete with the TVS Raider and the Hero Xtreme 125.
It is highly anticipated that Pulsar N 125 is going to launch by the end of June 2024.
