Bajaj had launched the Pulsar AS200 (Adventure Sport) motorcycle in India on 14.4.2014 priced at Rs. 91,550.
While this pricing was marginally cheaper than the Pulsar 200NS, it was known that these prices would be introductory.
Now, the brand has increased the prices of the Pulsar AS200 by Rs. 2,000. As of now, the Pulsar AS200 is listed on sale for Rs. 93,552 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Powering the Pulsar 200AS is a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled petrol motor producing 23.5 PS of power @ 9,500 RPM and 18.35 Nm of torque @ 8,000 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox. While the RS200 gets fuel injection, the AS200 gets a carburetor to perform the fueling duty.
With the semi fairing, the Pulsar AS200 weighs 153 kg, which is 8 kg heavier than the 200NS.
Pricing of the cheaper Pulsar AS150 remains unchanged at the moment.
