Bajaj launches Avenger Street 180 cruiser for INR 83,475

Written by Parichay Malvankar

As usual, playing with multiple capacity engines on a particular product, Bajaj Auto has launched the Avenger Street 180 in India. Slotting in below the Avenger Street 220 & Avenger Cruiser 220, the new 2018 Avenger Street 180 will be replacing the Street 150.

The new bike, the Avenger Street 180 has been priced at INR 83,475 (ex-showroom),

Bajaj has been enjoying almost no competition in this segment, and although the Suzuki Intruder is now available in a 150cc segment, the popularity of the Avenger range is very good among the masses. With the new Avenger 180, Bajaj is hoping to attract more customers by offering more performance.

The new Avenger Street 180 comes in two colour options – red & black. It sports features such as LED DRLs, new digital instrument console, alloy wheels, all-nblack roadster theme, rubberised grab rail, new graphics & larger branding.

Powering the Avenger Street 180 is a 180cc, single-cylinder, DTS-i, air-cooled motor producing 15.5 PS of power and 13.7 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike comes with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. Rest everything is typical of an Avenger cruiser, nothing has changed to an extent that we need to describe further.
