Written by Nizam Shaikh

German luxury car manufacturer, Audi has announced that the brand will increase the prices of Audi vehicles in the Indian market by 2% starting from January 1st 2020. The hike in price will be effective on the entire model range of Audi cars and the increase in price is due to the weakening of the rupee and rising input costs. The brand has revealed that decision has come due to the currency fluctuations combined with rising costs that have strained the cost structure of the company. The company has tried to absorb the impact on various levels but now it is forced to make amends to the prices for the sustainable growth of the company.
