Audi has introduced the S5 Sportback Platinum Edition in India. This is a limited edition variant that comes with some visual enhancement along with some new features. This model is priced at INR 18.57 lakh, ex-showroom.
What’s new in the Audi S5 Sportback Platinum Edition?
At the front, we can notice that the S5 Sportback Platinum Edition comes with a pair of Matrix LED headlamps with Laser lights and a Black Styling Package Plus. The latter adds black detailing on grille, window trims as well as adds the red brake callipers with S lettering.
Coming to the insides, the Audi S5 Sportback Platinum Edition is equipped with sports seats which offer lumbar support, adjustable side bolsters and a massage function. Audi has selected Magma Red Nappa leather upholstery while there are carbon fibre inserts as well inside the cabin. The door sills get LED lighting and the front doors project the S logo when open.
Meanwhile, the S5 Sportback comes with a large 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, three customizable modes including Sport, S performance and Dynamic. The car also gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 180W 10-speaker audio and smartphone connectivity.
Audi is offering this limited edition in two colour options – District Green and Mythos Black.
Powertrain of the Audi S5 Sportback Platinum Edition
Audi has equipped the Audi S5 with a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine. The engine develops 349 BHP and 500 Nm. Power is sent to all the four wheels via the Quattro all-wheel drive system and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Audi Q8 limited edition
Audi has launched a new version of its premier SUV. The Audi Q8 limited edition has been priced at INR 1.18 crore. The SUV is offered with some cosmetic enhancements.
For starters, the SUV is offered with an option of three colours – Mythos Black, Glacier White and Daytona Grey. Furthermore, the limited edition Q8 comes with the S-line trim. This adds some sporty elements on the outside like the all-black single frame grille, roof rails finished in black, Matrix LED headlamps and more. Audi has equipped the limited edition Q8 with 21-inch graphite grey alloy wheels.
On the inside, the car doesn’t get any unique features as compared to the regular Q8 SUV. It comes with dual touchscreens, a virtual cockpit for the driver, B&O sound system, four zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof.
