Audi reveals new Q6 e-tron

The Audi Q6 e-tron has made its debut with the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture. The Q6 e-tron is the first production model on the PPE which also underpins Porsche’s Macan Electric. Audi claims that the Q6 e-tron coms with typical Audi SUV styling with e-tron specific cues, long range, impressive driving dynamics and charging performance.

In Europe, Audi will begin retailing the Q6 e-tron Quattro with a price tag of EUR 74,700. The Audi SQ e-tron will be available with a price tag of EUR 93,800 MSRP. The premium electric SUV is now available to order in the European markets and the brand plans to commence deliveries from the third quarter of 2024.

Audi Q6 e-tron – Performance

Powering the Audi Q6 e-tron Quattro is a 100kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The standard variant offers 390 Bhp of power while the performance SQ6 e-tron pumps out 517 Bhp of power. The Audi Q6 e-tron is available with rear-wheel drive as well as all-wheel drive technology and offers a range of around 615 km on a single charge. The Q6 e-tron Quattro can sprint from 0-100kmph in just 5.9 seconds. While the SQ6 e-tron, can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.3 seconds with launch control.

The 800V architecture also offers 270kW charging as standard. In 10 minutes of charging, at a High Power Charging (HPC) station, the Q6 e-tron can get upto 255 km of range. Also, charging from 10% SOC to 80% SOC only takes about 21 minutes. The car also comes with predictive thermal management, plug and charge and bank charging. AC charging of 11 kW is also possible on the Q6 e-tron.

Audi Q6 e-tron – Dimensions and Features

The Q6 e-tron is 4,771mm long, 2,193mm wide, and 1,702mm in height. The e-SUV features 526 litres of storage space which can be increased to up to 1,529 litres by folding down the rear seats. In addition to this, the electric car also gets 64 litres of frunk space. The Audi Q6 e-tron comes with Matrix LED headlights and the OLED rear lights 2.0 which is the world’s first active digital light signature.
