Audi has announced a new special edition of the Q5 SUV. The car will be available in limited numbers and comes with new features and paint options. The ex-showroom price of the car is set at INR 67,05,000.
What’s new on the outside
The Audi Q5 Special Edition will be offered in two new colour shades – District Green and Ibis White. It also gets a black styling package with black ORVM covers, logos, and roof rails. The Q5 Special Edition gets 5-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels in graphite gray. Customers will also be offered genuine Audi accessories at a discounted price. Equipment wise, it will get all those present in the Q5 Technology variant.
The Q5 also gets LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry and a sensor control boot lid. It receives a Singleframe grille with vertical struts.
Owners can also choose to get Running Boards, and Audi Ring Foil Silver fitted at discounted prices.
What’s new on the inside
The new Q5 Special Edition gets a plush leather and leatherette upholstery design. It gets 8 Airbags, including those for the rear (rear side airbags). Other features include park assist with parking aid plus, power-adjustable front seats with memory function for the driver, triple-zone climate control, wireless phone charger and ambient lights with 30 colours.
The Q5 also gets a 25.65 cm touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, B&O Premium Sound System and a 31.24 cm driver display.
Powertrain of the Audi Q5 Special Edition
A 2.0-litre 2.0 TFSI petrol engine powers the Q5. It develops 249 HP and 370 Nm of peak torque. Audi claims a 0-100 km/h time of 6.3 seconds with a top speed of 237 km/h. A four-wheel drive system is offered as standard. Drivers can also choose from six drive modes – comfort, dynamic, individual, auto, efficiency and off-road.
