Audi opens bookings for new Q5 SUV in India

Audi India has announced that the brand has opened bookings for the new Audi Q5 SUV in the Indian market. Customers can book the new Audi Q5 in India at the booking amount of INR 2 lakhs. The brand has revealed that customers can book the new Audi Q5 through Audi’s online sales channels as well as Audi’s wide network of dealerships across the country.

Furthermore, the brand also revealed that Audi would produce the new Q5 SUV at Audi’s SAVWIPL plant in Aurangabad. Audi has optimised the new Audi Q5 combining a sporty character with excellent everyday usability for the Indian market. The brand will offer the new Q5 in two variants – Premium Plus and Technology. Audi India will reveal the price of the Q5 shortly. 

2021 Audi Q5 – Design Highlights 

The 2021 Audi Q5 retains the elegant design language renowned internationally. The SUV comes with the signature single-frame grille with satin chrome accents. Flanking the grille are sleek headlamp units as well as fog light on the lower part of the bumper. The Q5 also features a rugged silver skid plate on the front reiterating its sporty character. The Q5 comes with a progressive roofline and broad haunches. The top-spec model also comes with a piano black grille replacing the chrome accents. 

2021 Audi Q5 – Top Features 

In terms of features, the new Q5 will come with LED headlamps, Audi Exclusive Inlays in Black Piano Lacquer and Audi Park Assist. The SUV comes with rounded wheel arches that house 19-inch five double-spoke star style alloy wheels. The car also gets a Comfort key with the sensor-controlled boot-lid operation, Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, as well as a B&O Premium 3D Sound System. The Audi Q5 will also come with Quattro all-wheel-drive technology and best-in-class driving characteristics and dynamics.

2021 Audi Q5 – Technical Specifications

Powering the Audi Q5 will be a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine with Quattro all-wheel drive. Audi boasts that the permanent Quattro all-wheel-drive has been one of the brand’s key technologies. The brand will also offer the new Q5 with suspension with damping control on all four wheels. Full details of the Q5, Audi’s 9th product launch for 2021, will be revealed soon.
