The smallest Q for the Indian market, Audi has launched the Q2 SUV for the luxury car aspirants. With this, the Q range of SUVs become more affordable here in India. Audi will retail the Q2 in a total of 5 variants, with a single engine option. The standard model is priced at INR 34.99 lakh, Premium model at INR 40.89 lakh, Premium Plus I at INR 44.64  lakh, Premium Plus II at INR 45.14 lakh and Technology model at INR 48.89 lakh (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom). For the initial set of buyers, Audi will also be including a peace of mind package which adds 5 year service pack, 2+3 year extended warranty and 2+3 year RSA. For the customers who wish to get a panoramic glass sunroof, it would be charged at an additional INR 1.5 lakh.

Powering the Audi Q2 is a single petrol engine option. Just like every other Audi currently on sale, there won’t be a BS6 compliant diesel motor for our market any time soon. The Q2 is powered by a 2.0L, 40 TFSI Quattro engine. This motor produces 190 HP of peak power and 320 Nm of peak torque allowing the Audi Q2 to sprint from 0-100 kmph in 6.5 seconds. With the Quattro all-wheel-drive, the Q2 remains true to the SUV DNA and not just a poser. Matched to this 4-cylinder motor is a 7-speed S Tronic dual clutch automatic gearbox. The Audi Q2 drives on four-link suspension and comes with a progressive steering setup which adapts to the drive. Customers can further opt between modes via the Audi Drive Select.

The Audi Q2 is a compact-SUV by the German luxury car brand standards. It measures 4318mm in length, 1805mm in width, 1548mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2593mm. The Audi Q2 boasts a singleframe front grille in an octagon shape, XL sized air dams, LED headlamps and tail lamps, multi-spoke alloy wheels, contrast painted ORVMs, healthy dose of body cladding, sharkfin antenna, integrated rear spoiler and a lot of black appliques to add a sporty touch.

On the inside, the Audi Q2 comes with sporty front seats, high seat position for a commanding view, boot space capacity expandable from 405L to 1050L, Audi Virtual Cockpict which means a full digital speedometer cluster with Classic & Dynamic modes, LED ambient lights with 10 colour choices, floating touchscreen infotainment, automatic climate control, 10-speaker sound system with a subwoofer and 6-channel amplifier, wireless charging via the Audi phone box, textured inlays, contrast stitching and more…

The Q2 is Audi India’s 6th launch in 2020.
