Audi has silently launched the facelift version of the A4 sedan in India. The brand recently introduced the A6 in India, and the updated A4 will try to win customers back to Audi showrooms. The 2020 Audi A4 facelift sedan has been priced at INR 42 lakh for the Premium Plus variant and INR 45.55 lakh for the Technology variant. The updated Audi A4 has been launched only with a petrol engine replacing the old model which also had a diesel motor.

Changes on the outside of the 2020 Audi A4 facelift include reworked front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheels, new body colour options, Auto Park Assist function. That’s it. Audi is calling this updated a Quick Lift, not a facelift. Features which remain on the Audi A4 include LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, electric sunroof, electric seats, chrome accents around DLO, chrome grille surround, front & rear parking sensors, Audi virtual cockpit digital speedo console, 3-zone climate control and more…

The new Audi A4 comes only with a 1.4L, turbo-petrol engine which produces 150 HP of petrol and powers the front-wheels only. The engine is matched to a 7-speed automatic gearbox. Audi is expected to introduce a BS6 compliant diesel engine by or before 1st April 2020.

The Audi A4 fights out with the BMW 3-Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Jaguar XE.
