In 2024, Audi India sold 5,816 retail units, a 26.7% decrease from 7,931 units sold in 2023. However, the brand bounced back from early losses, selling 1,927 units in Q4, which was its best quarter of the year and a 36% increase over Q3 2024.

Supply-related difficulties were faced by the brand in the first half of 2024, said Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India. However, the sustained demand for its goods showcased the consumer’s loyalty and faith towards the brand.

Audi India’s sales performance in 2024:

Audi India’s performance was hampered by supply chain interruptions in the first half of 2024. But as supply chains stabilised, the second half of 2024 rebounded, resulting in better deliveries and a solid Q4 performance.

The “100 Days of Celebration” campaign provided special advantages to both new and returning consumers. This also assisted the brand in gaining some momentum in the face of growing competition and was launched to commemorate this accomplishment.

The major highlights in 2024 was Audi India’s achievement of surpassing the 100,000 cumulative car sales. Audi Approved, the company’s pre-owned vehicle segment, grew by 32% in 2024, a significant decrease from the 62% growth in 2023. To date, the company has opened 26 Audi-approved facilities around the country, including the largest pre-owned luxury automobile showroom in Northeast India (Guwahati) and a new facility in Mangalore.

The introduction of the new Audi Q8 and Audi Q7 models in 2024 impacted in a good way the expansion of Audi India’s Q-series SUV offering. These additions led to a significant boost in demand in the second half of the year. Despite the difficulties in 2024, Audi India bounced back significantly in Q4, as evidenced by higher sales. With a robust product line, ongoing network development, and an emphasis on improving customer experiences, Audi India is confident in the long-term prospects of the Indian luxury automobile industry.
