German premium car manufacturer, Audi has slashed the rates on their A3 sedan on an occasion of the model’s fifth anniversary in India. The Audi A3 which is the brand’s entry-level sedan in India now starts from INR 28.99 lakh ex-showroom.
The Audi A3 features equipment like a 7.0-inch infotainment screen, dual-zone climate control air-conditioning with rear ac vents, Audi phone box with wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof and LED puddle lamps with Audi logo. The S Line trim on the sedan is added with sporty front bumpers, side skirts and rear bumpers with diffuser, chrome tailpipes, illuminated door sills, S Line grille and S Line badging on the front fenders
The A3 sedan is powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine that develops 150 HP and 250 Nm of torque mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission sending the power to the front wheels. The diesel option is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged unit that produces 143 HP of power and 320 Nm of torque coupled to a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox with front wheel drive.
