Ather Energy starts retail sales in Kochi for 450 Plus & 450X electric scooters

Ather Energy, one of the leading electric scooter manufacturers in India inaugurates its newest retail outlet in Kochi. Ather Energy is a brainchild of a group of IIT Madras alumni which has now the backing from Flipkart, Hero MotoCorp and Tiger Global. The first product from Ather, the 450, launched in 2018, did receive a positive response from the market and now the company with its latest offering in form of the 450X, which is the successor of 450 looks all set to take on this emerging electric scooter segment.

Ather Space – Kochi

The location of the dealership at 48/1786-B, Ground floor Chakkarapadam building, NH Ln, Ponnurunni in association with Palal Group will look into serving the growing interest of electric vehicles in the state. Space, as Ather likes to call its dealership points, is a one-stop location where it offers customers to know more about the products. The Ather Space showrooms have a naked view of the electric scooter showcasing all the internal components which helps in understanding the working principle in a much easier way. The customers can also leverage the installed large digital displays and understand all the unique connected features offered with the products. Customers have the option to book their rides prior to visiting the experience centre via Ather Energy’s website.

Ather Energy’s Charging Infrastructure In Kochi.

As of now, Ather Energy claims to have installed Ather Grid points including 5 fast-charging points in Kochi. These charging points can be found in locations like Grand Mall (Edappally), French Toast (Panampilly and Kacheripady), Jogo Infinite (Perumanoor), Center Square Mall (Rajaji Junction) and Ather Space Kochi. In order to lure in more customers to adopt electric vehicles, Ather Energy is offering free charging at Ather Grid till March 2021 for all-electric 4-wheelers and 2-wheelers. The company mentioned that it plans to add 10 to 12 more charging points across the city which will strengthen the charging infrastructure which will be a major morale boost for all the people planning to buy an electric vehicle.
