Ather Energy has expanded its operations to Trichy by setting up a new retail outlet. The latest Ather Space located at Thillai Nagar in Trichy has come up in association with Vela Automobiles. Ather Energy confirmed that both the Ather 450X and Ather 450 Plus scooters will arrive at the showroom for test rides soon.
The company has created Ather Space to help the customers get acquainted with their class defining electric scooters. These showrooms are designed to provide customers with great insights into how an electric vehicle works. One can find a fully bursting view of the electric scooter, which shows the integration of all the components involved.
Ather Expanding Its Network To More Cities
As of now, Ather Energy has its presence in 15 cities across the country. This includes Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, and Jaipur. The company is also working proactively to build a vast charging infrastructure in the country. In Trichy, Ather Energy has set up their charging station called Ather Grid in key areas. This includes Annamalai Nagar, Singaram Nagar, Cantonment, Salai Road, and Thiruvanaikoil. Ather confirmed that they are planning to add 8 to 10 additional charging points across the city.
For the customers who want to install the charging solution at their homes, Ather Energy will facilitate that as well. In fact, they have already installed home chargers across 450 apartment complexes and buildings in Chennai over the last two years. Along with this, Ather’s manufacturing plant located in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, makes the supplier base quite strong in the state.
Price Details
After revising the Central Government’s FAME II subsidy, Ather range of scooters received a significant price cut. Currently, the Ather 450X retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 1,46,296. Meanwhile, the Ather 450 Plus has a sticker price of INR 1,27,286 in Trichy.
