Written by Nayak

Ather Energy, one of the youngest players in the electric two-wheeler segment in India did put on a great sales figure for the 2020 year, despite a huge number of factors acting against them. With only a single model on sale in the past year, the Bengaluru based electric two-wheeler company registered a healthy 30 per cent year-on-year growth. To improve on the sales figure for this year, the company is fast-tracking its process of adding dealerships in new markets which will help them cater to a bigger audience.

Mysore Becomes The Latest City To Come Under Ather’s Network

Ather Energy confirmed that the citizens of Mysore will have their first Ather Space, the exclusive experience centre of Ather Energy located at Hunsur Road, Hinkal with deliveries starting from the next couple of weeks. The charging infrastructure of electric vehicles is still at a very nascent stage in the country and this is what gives the customers second thoughts before buying an electric vehicle. To help customers provide a hassle-free and seamless customer experience, Ather Energy will install 3-4 fast-charging stations across all the key areas in the cities like cafés, restaurants, tech parks, malls, and gyms. The company also claims to double the count of Ather Grid by the end of 2021, as Ather likes to call its charging stations across the country. Currently, there are a total of 120 public fast chargers across 17 cities in India.
