This includes Peelamedu, Ram Nagar, Sai Baba Colony, Saravanampatti, Racecourse road, Kuniyamuthur, and Sulur. And the company has also confirmed that soon 8 to 10 more charging points will come up at different locations in the city. Tamil Nadu – One Of The Early Adopters Of EVs

The current demand for electric vehicles is great news. The faster we make the shift to EVs, the better. The significant benefit is the decrease in carbon footprint, which is a concern these days. Tamil Nadu state government was one of the early states to introduce its EV policies. In fact, Ather’s own manufacturing plant is set up in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, leveraging the state’s EV centric policies. After the revised Fame-II subsidy, the Ather 450X has a sticker price of INR 1,46,296 (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the Ather 450 Plus retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 1,27,286. These will reduce further after the state government subsidy guidelines are issued.
