Ather Energy has cut the price of the Ather 450S electric scooter. The Ather 450S is the brand’s entry-level electric scooter which now comes with a price tag of INR 109,999/- ex-showroom. This new price is INR 20,000 less than before. In addition to this, enthusiasts can also separately purchase the Pro package which unlocks a number of features at just INR 9,999/-. Earlier, the price of the Pro pack was INR 22,210/-.
Ather Energy is also offering Ather Battery Protect at just INR 1/-, which includes 5 year and 60,000 km warranty on the battery. The Ather Battery Protect was priced at INR 5,499/- before. Compared to the Ather 450X, the 450S comes with a 7-inch DeepView display with Turn-by-Turn navigation. The 450S scooter also comes with 4 colour options Cosmic Black, Still White, Salt Green and Space Grey.
Ather Energy 450S – Pro Package
At the reduced price of INR 9,999/- customers can get upgrades such as Ather Ride Assist, Ather Connect and Atherstack OTA Updates. Ather Ride Assist comes with features such as riding modes – SmartEco, Eco, Ride and Sport. Along with this Ather Ride Assist also gets Auto Hold, Auto Indicator Cut-Off, Dashboard Auto Brightness, Coasting Regen and an Interactive UI.
Also, features such as TrueRange Display, Emergency Stop Signal, Call and Music Control, and Vehicle Fail Safe is also included. Ather also offers a slew of Connected features through Ather Connect. Customers also get the latest enhancements and features through Over The Air updates constantly improving the scooter, via Atherstack OTA Updates.
Ather Energy 450S – Powertrain and Range
Powering the Ather 450S is a 2.9 kWh battery with a mid-mounted motor. The battery is capable of providing a true range of around 90 km on a single charge. The claimed IDC certified range 115 km on a single charge. The motor is powerful enough for propelling the scooter to a top speed of 90 kmph. The electric scooter is also capable of sprinting from 0-40kmph in just 3.9 seconds. Charging the Ather 450S takes about 6 hours and 36 minutes (0-80% SOC).
